“There is something extraordinarily explosive when two expressive forces are joined and a new creative synergy emerges. A music video or video portrait of a musician should not only convey and tell a story, it should also add an artistic vision, a visual interpretation.”

- Christian Fergo, founder of SoundLit Films

The Danish guitarist and film maker Christian Fergo has made videos for musicians, festivals and record labels ever since he started filming and recording his own music making years ago. He graduated with the classical guitar from the Royal Danish Academy of Music as well as the Lucerne Music Academy with distinction.

His interest in visual expression, the artistic possibilities of film making and his musical background led him to explore the combination of sound and film.

As a guitarist he has worked with some of the great musicians of the 21st Century, such as Claudio Abbado, Alicia de Larrocha and Julian Pregardien and has recorded several CDs.

In the field of film, he has made performance videos and portraits with a broad spectrum of musicians and groups such as Pablo Márquez, casalQuartett, Trio Popp.Roß.Dohrmann, The Led Farmers, Luzerner Zupforchester as well as worked for Challenge Records International, Lucerne Guitar Concerts and more. He is based in Switzerland.
